Familia-centro y enfoques de aprendizaje

Abstract

[Resumen] Parecen existir gran cantidad de variables que inciden en el rendimiento académico del alumnado; suelen agruparse en variables contextuales de tipo familiar y escolar, y variables procesuales, es decir, el modo en que el sujeto aborda y ejecuta las tareas educativas, esto es, los enfoques de aprendizaje. Estos enfoques se consideran factores determinantes en el rendimiento académico. El enfoque superficial se caracteriza por una motivación extrínseca, se trata de no trabajar más de 10 necesario para alcanzar los objetivos del trabajo. El enfoque profundo se caracteriza por una motivación intrínseca hacia el aprendizaje, intentando adquirir una competencia académica amplia en las materias, tratando de comprender y relacionar los contenidos. Finalmente, el de logro se caracteriza por un motivo extrínseco, en relación con la competición de los otros, le interesa conseguir los niveles más altos de rendimiento, con independencia del interés que puedan tener los contenidos; las estrategias van orientadas a la organización y control del tiempo, espacio y esfuerzo. En este trabajo estudiaremos la adopción de los diferentes enfoques atribuibles a las "relaciones familia- centro", englobando dentro de ello las valoraciones que la familia hace del estudio, su satisfacción con el rendimiento del hijo/a, los refuerzos familiares, expectativas, etc.
