
[Resumen] La deficiencia visual solamente es un defecto físico sino está asociada a otra patología (en la actualidad está surgiendo un elevado número de casos de sordo ceguera entre la población). Como tal defecto físico conlleva un compendio de frustraciones que afecta su personalidad y a la de los que configuran su entorno y una "lentitud intelectual" nunca un retraso debido a su escasa estimulación familiar; escasa estimulación educativa y escasa estimulación social. Por tal circunstancia en este artículo se pretende dar unas pautas de intervención para los profesionales de Educación Infantil.
