
[Resumen] Aunque el estaño se encuentra en la Naturaleza en minerales como silicato y sulfuros complejos, sólo se obtiene generalmente a partir de la casiterita, mediante un proceso de fusión, de concentrados de este mineral. En paragénesis con la casiterita, se encuentra una serie de minerales, cuyo comportamiento va a ser condicionante tanto en el proceso de reducción, como en el uso posterior del metal obtenido. En este trabajo se exponen los efectos de estos elementos paragnéticos -impurezas- clasificándolos en tres grupos, según su comportamiento
[Abstract] Although tin is found in nature in minerals such as silicates and complex sulphur it is generally only obtained from cassiterite, by a process of smelting of concentrates of this mineral. In a paragneiss with the Cassiterite there are others mineraIs with reactions producing an influence in reduction procesing and in the further use of the metal obtained. In this report the effects of these elements (impurities) are described and they are classified in three groups, according to their reactions
