[Resumen] Los deportes que cuentan con movimientos de desplazamiento mediolateral y anteroposterior, así como con fuertes impactos del pie contra el suelo, suelen originar lesiones óseas y ligamentosas, como por ejemplo el esguince del ligamento lateral externo del tobillo, que cursan con incapacidad para realizar deporte hasta la remisión total de la sintomatología en los mejores casos y con el tratamiento quirúrgico en los peores. Con la finalidad de valorar el efecto de la aplicación del vendaje funcional de tobillo en deportistas que practican fútbol sala a nivel amateur, para prevenir el esguince, se realizan una serie de análisis con plataforma de presiones a un solo jugador, para establecer una primera toma de contacto con el efecto que producen en la práctica deportiva. Se obtienen diferentes captaciones en estática y dinámica, que muestran claramente como la aplicación del vendaje funcional de tobillo limita considerablemente la movilidad del mismo, alterando con ello la funcionalidad del pie. Los resultados que proporciona el trabajo permitirán establecer los criterios para realizar nuevos estudios sobre la utilidad del vendaje funcional de tobillo en la prevención del esguince de tobillo con una mayor muestra representativa.

[Abstract] Sports, is some cases, are done with both mediolateral and anteroposterior movements, and strong impacts of the foot against the ground. In these cases, it's probably that a bone or ligament injury can be made. An example is the sprain of the lateral ligament of the ankle. It produces incapacity in doing sport until the pain has been eliminated, in the best cases, and a surgical treatment in the worst. In order to value the effect of the functional bandage's ankle in people who practise football sala, to prevent a lateral ligament ankle's sprain, some analyses are made using a press platform with an only one player. It's possible to see the effect of the bandages in this sport. Different pictures are obtained in both static and dynamic position. They show that the functional bandage limit ankle's mobility. Its functionality, in consequence, is altered. The results done by the work will allow establishing the base to made new studies about the effectively of the functional bandage to prevent lateral ligament ankle's sprain with more footballer players.
