Abstract

[Abstract]: The objective of this final work is to develop an application that allows various plays and indicators related to the individual performance of players to be calculated by using data from tactical cameras in football matches through commercial systems. More specifically, data provided and processed by Opta, one of the leading providers of such information, were used. To achieve this goal, it was first necessary to perform a preliminary analysis to establish the scope and requirements of the project, then the interface mockup was made, and finally the application was implemented. To carry out this work, tools such as PostgreSQL with PostGIS were used to make queries about the positions of all players and the ball during a football match. Algorithms that allow analyzing different individual plays, such as the percentage of passes, areas of the field where corners are thrown or positions where they recover or lose the ball, were developed based on them. In addition, FastAPI was used to develop a server that acts as an intermediary between the database and an intuitive web interface, allowing data visualization and analysis in an efficient and accessible way through JavaScript with Leaflet. The final degree work was made following an iterative and incremental methodology to develop the software.
