Abstract

[Resumen] José Luis Tasset y Francisco Vázquez García pu-blicaron en 2002 (Madrid, Biblioteca Nueva) la edición española de la obra de Jeremy Bentham titulada De los delitos contra uno mismo. Ensayo sobre la pederastia. Este escrito de mediados de la década de 1780 versaba en torno a la homosexua-lidad y recopilaba parte de los trabajos de Jeremy Bentham agrupados bajo el epígrafe de “Código Penal”. Ahora, estos dos expertos españoles en la Ilustración británica y en historia cultural de la se-xualidad respectivamente se sumergen de nuevo en los manuscritos de Bentham, muchos de ellos aún inéditos tanto en inglés como en español, so-bre la homosexualidad, el homoerotismo y, en definitiva, sobre la sexualidad que en los siglos XVIII y XIX era considerada como no reglada, no regular, irregular al fin, esto es, la no vincu-lada al matrimonio y con fines no reproductivos.
