Abstract

[Resumen] Siza x Siza es el resultado de un largo proyecto editorial, en el que el propio Alvaro Siza escoge 6 obras de entre más de 400 realizadas durante su vida profesional, más de 60 años. El arquitecto en una profunda entrevista a cargo de Carlos Seoane, explica las razones de la selección así como una gran cantidad de reflexiones sobre multitud de temas. 157 fotografías componen el reportaje fotográfico de las seis obras que Juan Rodríguez ha realizado en exclusiva para esta edición, así como la cuidadosa reproducción de 124 dibujos a mano del propio Alvaro Siza, muchos de ellos nunca antes publicados. El presente libro también cuenta con textos escritos para este libro-homenaje, de Eduardo Souto de Moura, Kenneth Frampton, Juhani Pallasmaa y David Cohn.
