Abstract

[Resumen] En el presente trabajo se presentan los resultados de una investigación de campo que se centra en las políticas sociales públicas en el emprendimiento femenino cuyo objetivo principal se persigue en analizar los principales desafíos que ha enfrentado la política pública de fomento del emprendimiento en la mujer en Bogotá, Colombia, con esta intención este trabajo complementa otros objetivos específicos de la investigación; a través de la metodología cualitativa, que combina un análisis documental con la realización de entrevistas semiestructuradas a las propias mujeres emprendedoras, es posible visualizar la cultura empresarial existente y las barreras institucionales como pueden obstaculizar el avance de las mujeres en el mundo empresarial. Así mismo, se analiza la importancia de las políticas públicas para promover la igualdad social y el desarrollo económico y se enfatiza la necesidad de comprender las causas estructurales de las disparidades de género en el emprendimiento. El documento también destaca el papel del Estado en la promoción de la igualdad de género y la importancia del espíritu empresarial para contribuir al crecimiento económico.

Así mesmo, analízase a importancia das políticas públicas para promover a igualdade social e o desenvolvemento económico e subliñase a necesidade de comprender as causas estruturais das disparidades de xénero no emprendemento. O documento tamén destaca o papel do Estado na promoción da igualdade de xénero e a importancia do emprendemento para contribuír ao crecemento económico.

[Abstract] This paper presents the results of a field investigation that focuses on public social policies in female entrepreneurship whose main objective is to analyze the main challenges that the public policy to promote entrepreneurship in women in Bogotá, Colombia, with this intention this work complements other specific objectives of the research; Through qualitative methodology, which combines documentary analysis with semi-structured interviews with the women entrepreneurs themselves, it is possible to visualize the existing business culture and the institutional barriers that can hinder the advancement of women in the business world. Likewise, the importance of public policies to promote social equality and economic development is analyzed and the need to understand the structural causes of gender disparities in entrepreneurship is emphasized. The document also highlights the role of the State in promoting gender equality and the importance of entrepreneurship in contributing to economic growth.
