[Resumen] Este trabajo fin de máster es un análisis sobre el alcance normativo en materia de prevención de riesgos laborales de los bomberos profesionales. Se explica el funcionamiento de un servicio de bomberos y las competencias de estos profesionales. Cumplir con las obligaciones de prevenir los riesgos laborales y de garantizar la seguridad en esta profesión impone la necesidad de dominar una prolija normativa y conocer la jurisprudencia existente para, luego, aplicar todo ello a servicios y supuestos muy diferentes. Los bomberos no están exentos de accidentes de trabajo o de enfermedades profesionales, teniendo que pugnar las más de las veces por el reconocimiento de la contingencia profesional de sus dolencias

[Abstract] This final master's work is an analysis of the regulatory scope of occupational risk prevention for professional firefighters. The functioning of a fire service and the competencies of these professionals are explained. Fulfilling the obligations to prevent occupational risks and to guarantee safety in this profession requires the mastery of a long list of regulations and knowledge of existing case law, which can then be applied to very different services and situations. Firefighters are not exempt from accidents at work or occupational diseases, having to fight most of the time for the recognition of the professional contingency of their ailments
