Sistema SCR para el control de emisiones

Sistema SCR para el control de emisiones

Abstract

A última parte explica os problemas atopados durante a operación e mantemento do sistema SCR e as solucións levadas a cabo a bordo.

[Abstract] As we move forward in time the restrictions on ship pollution are becoming more stricter because they are responsible for 90% of international trade due to almost 80% of countries recognized by the UN are landlocked. In terms of global emissions, shipping represents a small part of total, but together with aviation, in recent years it has been one of the fasters growing sources of emissions. It is very important to take measures for the reduction of maritime pollution and this project will explain the current regulations regarding NOX pollution ant the systems used for its reduction. In this TFM the Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system is detailed in relative depth, since it currently has the highest efficiency in controlling NOX emissions, guaranteeing a 95% reduction. The last part explains the problems found during the operation and maintenance tasks of the SCR system and the solutions carried out on board.
