[Abstract]: This paper aims, through a theoretical and practical approach, to analyse the functioning of the different sectors that make up the Spanish electricity system, in order to determine whether, after the liberalisation that took place in 1997, the objectives of competition and market efficiency were achieved.
[Resumo]: O presente traballo pretende, a través dun enfoque teórico-práctico, analizar o funcionamento dos diferentes sectores que compoñen o sistema eléctrico español, para determinar se, trala liberalización que tivo lugar no ano 1997, conseguíronse acadar os obxectivos de competencia e eficiencia do mercado.
