Abstract

[Resumen]: Este documento de Trabajo de Fin de Grado (TFG) pretende presentar un proyecto de intervención enfocado al análisis de la influencia que puede tener el ciclo menstrual en mujeres en el rendimiento deportivo, más concretamente en la fuerza explosiva del tren inferior. La historia acerca de la temática sobre la que atiende este documento nos dice que es una cuestión tabú, aunque en los últimos años hay un mayor número de estudios y es un determinante más a tener en cuenta a la hora de preparar a las mujeres para una competición deportiva femenina. Según Aguilar Macías (2015), desde la década de los 60 se llevaron a cabo estudios acerca del ciclo menstrual en mujeres pero no es hasta la década de los 70 cuando se empieza a dar la importancia a los efectos que puede tener el ciclo menstrual en el rendimiento deportivo de las atletas. En este proyecto se recogerá información de importancia científica y se analizarán diversos criterios directamente relacionados con el ciclo menstrual, que pueden ser determinantes en el rendimiento deportivo, con el objetivo de obtener unos determinados resultados para tenerlos en cuenta en futuras preparaciones deportivas de competición femeninas.
