[Abstract] The projection of the welfare state model in terms of traditional canons has reached a crisis point from a number of different perspectives. The influence of the postulates of methodology based on open, plural, dynamic and complementary thinking on the functionality of the State in the 21st Century poses new ways in which to approach a social State model. In this sense, this study tackles some of the consequences of the core of the human being´s dignity and the new dynamic welfare state model implies for the running of the public Administration, a model built to overcome the failings of the old static, closed approach which has existed for so many years.
