Abstract

[Resumen] La motivación que me ha llevado a desarrollar este TFG ha sido conocer el uso y aplicación de las herramientas SIG en el mundo marítimo, y más concretamente en la gestión y operación de nuestros puertos. Dado que en estos últimos años hemos visto como se han desarrollado importantes infraestructuras portuarias en el área de A Coruña y Ferrol, he decidido crear un SIG que se podría aplicar a la gestión conjunta de estos dos puertos, al que he llamado “SIG Ártabro”. El trabajo se ha estructurado en tres partes diferenciadas. En la primera parte explico qué es un SIG y qué aplicaciones tiene este tipo de herramientas informáticas, y más concretamente qué ejemplos tenemos en el mundo marítimo. En la segunda parte se hace un análisis económico del hinterland de los puertos de A Coruña y Ferrol, estudiando los posibles tráficos portuarios de la zona. Y en la última parte se describe el “SIG Ártabro”, con sus distintas capas de información y las ventajas que nos puede proporcionar. [Abstract] The aim to develope this TFG has been to know the use and application of GIS tools in the maritime world, and more specifically in the management and operation of our ports. In recent years we have seen important port infrastructures developed in the area of A Coruña and Ferrol, I have decided to create a GIS that could be applied to the management of these two ports, which I have called "SIG Ártabro". This work has been structured in three different parts. In first part I show what a GIS is and in which applications is involved this type of computer tools, and more specifically which examples are in the maritime world. In second part an economic analysis of the hinterland of ports of A Coruña and Ferrol has been carried out, studing possible port traffics in this area. In last part “SIG Ártabro” is described, with his different layers of information and the advantages that it can provide. Traballo fin de grao (UDC.ETSNEM). Náutica e transporte marítimo.
