Os casos de Leo Caldas: as novelas policiais de Domingo Villar e adaptación cinematográfica de "A praia dos afogados"

Abstract

[Resumo] Neste traballo achegarémonos ás novelas de Domingo Villar, Ollos de auga (2006) e A praia dos afogados (2009), así como ao filme baseado na segunda delas e estreado no ano 2015. A publicación destas dúas obras e a súa boa acollida, tanto por parte do público lector como da crítica, supuxeron a súa consolidación no sistema literario galego como autor de novela criminal. Neste sentido, a súa tradución a diversos idiomas fixo tamén que pasase a formar parte do panorama internacional da novela policial. No presente estudo realizaremos unha análise de ambas obras partindo dos parámetros deste subxénero narrativo para así percibirmos as súas características fundamentais, mais tamén os elementos evolutivos mais destacábeis da primeira á segunda novela. Deterémonos, finalmente, na adaptación cinematográfica baseada n’A praia dos afogados baixo a dirección de Gerardo Herrero.
