Abstract

[Resumen]El objetivo principal del presente proyecto es el diseño de un Banco de Pruebas para Bombas Centrífugas con objeto de obtener las “Curvas Características” y principales características de funcionamiento de las bombas centrífugas de la empresa Gefico Enterprise, S.A., dentro del rango de potencia de 0,5 a 4 cv. Paralelo al diseño del Banco de Pruebas, se creará un documento con el Programa Microsoft Excel que permita la recopilación de los datos tomados del Banco de Pruebas durante los ensayos. Además de esta recopilación, el objeto del documento es realizar el cálculo de las Curvas Características de la bomba y presentarlas en forma de gráfica, así como un reporte de los datos de la prueba. Además se diseñará un programa ejecutable en formato “.EXE” mediante el software EES para poder calcular las “curvas características” teóricas de las bombas centrífugas objeto de estudio. Este estudio teórico se basará en el desarrollo teórico presentado en el libro de diseño de Bombas Centrífugas de J. Tuzson [11]. El programa diseñado debe realizar los cálculos teóricos a partir de datos geométricos del propio diseño de la bomba, extraíbles de los planos de la bomba, y de valores de diseño como puede ser el caudal de diseño. Por último, la elaboración del presente Proyecto sienta las bases para el diseño, además de recopilar amplia Bibliografía, y abre las puertas al diseño y construcción de un Banco de Bombas en la Escuela Técnica Superior de Náutica y Máquinas de A Coruña, que pueda ser empleado con fines educativos en prácticas de materias como “Mecánica de Fluidos” e “Hidráulica”.
