[Resumen] Este trabajo fin de máster pretende estudiar la migración irregular procedente de África subsahariana con destino a Europa, con puerta de entrada en España. Se parte de la idea de que la externalización de fronteras y la imposición de visado desde la creación del espacio Schengen y su consecuente refuerzo de fronteras exteriores, hace que ésta sea la única forma en la que pueden migrar la mayoría de los subsaharianos. Para ello, se abordan las causas de las migraciones irregulares, las rutas y sus formas analizando distintas historias de vida de personas que han hecho esta ruta de forma irregular.

[Abstract] This Master’s dissertation aims to study the irregular migrations from sub-Saharan Africa to Europe, entering on the continent through Spain. The principal bases is that the externalization of borders and the imposition of visas since the creation of the Schengen area and the consequent strengthening of its external borders makes the irregular migration to be the only option for most of the sub-Saharan Africans to actually migrate. To do this, causes of irregular migration, routes and its ways are studied by analyzing different life stories of people that have done this route irregularly.
