Abstract

Dentro del nuevo sistema diseñado por el Espacio Europeo de Educación Superior centrado en el aprendizaje del alumno, cobran protagonismo metodologías docentes diferentes a la clase magistral. Una de ellas es la que se enmarca dentro de lo que ha venido en denominarse aprendizaje cooperativo o colaborativo. Durante el curso 2006-2007 y, con la finalidad de ir introduciendo metodologías docentes adecuadas a las reformas previstas en la enseñanza universitaria, los profesores que impartimos la asignatura troncal de Historia del Derecho y de las Instituciones en la Facultad de Derecho de la Universidad de A Coruña hemos puesto en marcha una actividad consistente en la realización por parte de los alumnos de trabajos en grupo relativos a diferentes aspectos contemplados en el programa de la asignatura. La idea es la de conseguir desarrollar entre nuestros alumnos –de primer año de licenciatura- una serie de competencias genéricas y específicas que les resulten de utilidad para su vida profesional futura. En las páginas que siguen se realizará un análisis pormenorizado de la experiencia, poniendo de manifiesto el esquema de la actividad, los problemas surgidos y los resultados que se obtuvieron.
