Abstract

[Resumen] Introducción: La depresión postparto (DPP) se clasifica como depresión mayor en el DSM-IV-TR (Diagnostic and statistical manual of mental disorders). Es la alteración en el estado de ánimo más importante relacionada con el nacimiento, afectando al 10-15% de las mujeres. Sin embargo, a menudo no es reconocida ni tratada. Su diagnóstico, tratamiento y factores de riesgo plantean dificultades en su identificación. Objetivo: Realizar una revisión sistemática de la relación existente entre paridad y Depresión Postparto Material y Método: Revisión Bibliográfica Sistemática de artículos en español e inglés desde el 2005 hasta la actualidad en distintas bases de datos. Resultados: Tras la lectura detallada de los estudios que cumplen los criterios de inclusión, se seleccionan 10 artículos. Conclusiones: se evidencia que la relación entre paridad y Depresión Postparto, no tiene unos resultados homogéneos. Por tanto, se debe seguir investigando en este tema.

É a alteración no estado de ánimo máis importante relacionada co nacemento, afectando ó 10-15% das mulleres. Sen embargo, a menudo non é recoñecida nin tratada. O seu diagnóstico, tratamento e factores de risco plantean dificultades na sua identificación. Objetivo: Realizar unha revisión sistemática da relación existente entre paridade e Depresión Postparto Material y Método: Revisión Bibliográfica Sistemática de artículos en español e inglés dende o 2005 ata a actualidade en distintas bases de datos. Resultados: Tras a lectura detallada dos estudios que cumpren os criterios de inclusión, seleccionanse 10 artículos. Conclusiones: evidenciase que a relación entre paridade e Depresión Postparto, non ten uns resultados homoxéneos. Por tanto, debese seguir investigando neste tema.

[Abstract] Introduction: Postpartum depression (PPD) is classified as major depression in DSM-IV-TR (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders). It is the alteration in the status of most important birth related mood, affecting 10-15% of women. However, it is often unrecognized and untreated. Diagnosis, treatment and risk factors present difficulties in identification. Objective: To conduct a systematic review of the relationship between parity and Postpartum Depression Methods: Systematic Literature Review of articles in Spanish and English from 2005 to the present in various databases. Results: After reading the detailed studies that met the inclusion criteria, 10 items are selected. Conclusions: evidence that the relationship between parity and postpartum depression, no consistent results. Therefore, you should continue investigating on this issue.
