[Abstract] Despite the legal progress in the equality of rights during the last decades, in today’s Galician society homosexuality is still an option that marginalises, especially in the case of women. In this paper we will analyse in four narrative texts the image of lesbianism in Galicia. Like any cultural product of any historical moment, literature reflects the social context in which the work has been created. Consequently, we will not judge the text’s literary value, but study how lesbianism, and the way it is perceived by Galician society, is being represented in these texts
