International Reviews Inside the ANVUR Classification. The problems to solve. - The ANVUR (National Agency for the Evaluation of the University System and Research) classification system for periodicals clearly plays a positive role in terms of examining publications by candidates in a national assessment process. However, it is undeniable that this agency has also become a powerful tool for directing and regulating research, and a real mechanism for change. This raises fresh problems, especially when we examine the international perspective of such research, which is taking on a significant role in these publications. This text will focus on some of the features of the ANVUR classification system and on the essential structural conditions required to allow the educational community to increase its presence in international forums.
