Abstract

L'articolo descrive metodologia e risultati di una sperimentazione che aveva come obiettivo la verifica della funzionalità di un nuovo dispositivo di variazione della velocità di rotazione di un irrigatore a lunga gittata per semoventi. La valutazione prevedeva la misura dei parametri DUlq e CU ottenuti con livelli progressivi di sovrapposizione delle aree bagnate e il loro confronto con quelli ottenuti dallo stesso modello di irrigatore sprovvisto del dispositivo. The paper describes methodology and results of field trails aiming to assess the performance of a mechanical device able to vary the rotation speed of big travelling rain guns. Assessment was made according to DUlq and CU parameters, measured under progressive overlapping of wetted areas and compared to a second sprinkler model not equipped with the speed regulating device.
