Plants of seashore paspalum cv “Sea Isle 2000” and bermudagrass cv “Patriot” were subjected to three levels of salinity by means of irrigation with water + NaCl while they were organically grown in the nursery using peat or cocopeat as substrates. The aim was to verify if cocopeat may be a valid alternative to peat in high salinity conditions to grow plants of these species in order to produce stolons for environmentally friendly turfs.
