In the present work, the results of an experimental investigation carried out on masonry arches models reinforced with CFRP strips, bonded at the intrados or extrados, are reported. The study has been carried out in order to evaluate the impact of different reinforcement configurations as regards the strength of masonry arches, with reference to the principal structural parameters and to collapse modes. A further aim of the experimental analysis was to deduce considerations on sizing criteria for the CFRP strengthening of traditional masonry structures.
