Abstract

A helmet for protecting a user's head, comprising a cap for protecting the user's cranium and a chin guard for protecting the user's chin, wherein the chin guard is adapted to move between a first protecting position and a second protecting position under the action of a force acting in the direction of the chin of a user wearing on said helmet, the chin guard in said second protecting position being nearer to the user's chin) with respect to the chin guard in said first protecting position.
