Abstract

La dimensione residenziale in ambito urbano non si limita alla semplice presenza di strutture abitative. L’abitare è un’esperienza profondamente intrecciata con la comunità, la cultura e aspetti sociali ed economici: un com- plesso di interrelazioni tra individuo e l’ambiente. Attraverso l’analisi del rating sociale del Fondo Housing Toscano, questo libro invita a riflettere sull’evoluzione dell’abitare nel contesto urbano italiano, mettendo in luce sfide e opportunità nei progetti che mirano ad armo- nizzare le esigenze abitative individuali con gli imperativi di una sostenibilità collettiva. Attraverso esempi concreti, i contributi dimostrano come collaborazioni e politiche integrate possano dare vita a comunità urbane più resilienti e inclusive, facendo sempre più leva sul modello di “neo-mutualismo”. Ne sono la prova i sei progetti di Urban Housing descritti nel libro, promossi dal Fondo Housing Toscano grazie ad un investimento dedicato della Regione Toscana Dal welfare culturale alla cruciale questione della cultura energetica, passando per il concetto di polifunziona- lità residenziale e la valorizzazione del terzo settore, il libro illustra un nuovo modello di abitare urbano, in cui la dimensione residenziale diventi veicolo di un progresso urbano sostenibile e inclusivo, superando l’ambito del singolo progetto di Social Housing verso quello con visione più ampia dell’Urban Housing.
