Storytelling Hyperreality

Abstract

Questo articolo vuole rintracciare le radici dell’ipernarratività contemporanea analizzando il passaggio da una cultura della funzione e del significato, il moderno, a una cultura della finzione e del significante, il postmoderno. Le metanarrazioni del moderno (Lyotard) si ramificano nel labirinto mediatico della contemporaneità creando una dimensione in cui si assiste allo “sciopero degli eventi” (Baudrillard) e alla messa in scena della finzione rappresentazionale, alla spontaneità del potere del’'illusione e alla pluralità dei significati. L'ipernarratività che segna gli spazi del dibattito attuale sembra essere il risultato di quel processo di sostituzione della realtà con la sua costruzione estetica, già definito come "iperrealtà" (Eco): l’iperrealtà fa sì che gli eventi della storia, più che accadere, acquistino significato nella loro dimensione mimetica o mediatica, o narrativa.
