Nell’esperienza della globalizzazione, un ruolo centrale assume il settore turistico e la fruizione del patrimonio culturale. Le stesse locuzioni utilizzate, come ad esempio “Turismo culturale” o ancora “Turismo sostenibile”, testimoniano l’importanza della materia e la visione che di essa si è affermata nell’opinione pubblica. Quest’ultima richiama alla mente sia i tentativi di coordinamento legislativo tra due importanti codici di settore e cioè il Codice dei beni culturali e del paesaggio e il Codice del turismo, sia una prospettiva che pone al centro il bene culturale e la sua tutela rispetto a quella del turista fruitore. In the experience of globalization, the tourism sector and the use of cultural heritage plays a central role. The same terms used, such as "Cultural tourism" or "Sustainable tourism", testify to the importance of the subject and the vision that has established itself in public opinion. The latter brings to mind both the attempts at legislative coordination between two important sector codes, namely the Code of Cultural Heritage and Landscape and the Code of Tourism, and a perspective that places cultural heritage and its protection at the center with respect to that of the tourist user.
