The contribution observes the way in which the Tuscan cinematography of the early 2000s uses the local Language. This use of "tuscan Language" develops and to some extent accentuates traits announced by films released in the late years of the twentieth century. The most representative authors (often directors and actors at the same time) are those of the "Florentine scene" (from Benigni to Welcome; from Nuti to Pieraccioni to Ceccherini), to which must be added the remarkable case of the films "Livornesi" proposed by Virzì.
