IFLA LRM: un nuovo modello concettuale

Abstract

The article is a brief presentation of the new IFLA Library Reference Model (LRM) conceptual model approved in 2017. IFLA LRM harmonises and replaces the previous FR family models ie FRBR, FRAD and FRSAD. IFLA LRM focuses on four fundamental aspects: user functions, the entities that make up the bibliographic universe, their attributes and their relationships. It will take over from the previous models as a theoretical reference of the standards for metadata, moving towards the semantic web.
