This study, based on a survey of 1018 children, aged between 6-13 years, from urban and rural areas, aims at estimating the frequency of malocclusions among those patients who required specialized orthodontic treatment. A comparison is made between Class II Angle malocclusions within malocclusions in general. The results show that malocclusions recorded in some specialized orthodontic services reveal significant differences function of the children's provenience, age and sex.
