Abstract

Las corrientes residuales de la industria agroalimentaria presentan un elevado contenido de materia orgánica biodegradable. El tratamiento clásico ha sido la aplicación de procesos físico-químicos y biológicos aerobios, cuyas ventajas son la rapidez y la facilidad de control, pero tienen la desventaja de un elevado consumo energético y alta producción de lodos.
