Análisis de la distribución temporal de lluvias umbral y de su capacidad predictiva de flujos torrenciales. Aplicación en el barranco del Rebaixader (Lleida, Pirineos)

Abstract

Los umbrales de lluvias son una herramienta útil para la alerta temprana de flujos torrenciales. Su fiabilidad para la predicción de estos fenómenos depende de otros factores que también controlan la ocurrencia de los mismos, principalmente la disponibilidad de sedimento, que depende del tiempo. Los objetivos de este trabajo son investigar la influencia la disponibilidad de sedimento en la ocurrencia de flujos torrenciales mediante el análisis de la distribución temporal de las lluvias que superan el umbral y su comparación con la serie temporal de flujos torrenciales. El trabajo se realizará con la información disponible del sistema de auscultación de flujos torrenciales que existe en el Barranc del Rebaixader (Alta Ribagorça).
