Aquest treball és un estudi que tracta sobre tots els aspectes relatius als materials compostos utiltzats en la fabricació d\'embarcacions d\'esbarjo. A més de mostrar totes les propietats del materials de reforç i les matrius, especialment les polimèriques, és parla sobre els procesos de fabricació més extensos avui dia i sobre la situació comercial actual al mercat. L\'objectiu principal és el de que el lector arribi a conèixer el món dels materials compostos, sigui quin sigui el seu grau de coneixements inicials, podent arribar a diferenciar entre els principals materials de reforç, matrius, auxiliars i els diferents mètodes de producció existents.
