Disseny i control d'un convertidor modular multinivell

Abstract

Aquest projecte presenta l’estudi, l’ana`lisi i l’esquema de control d’un convertidor d’estructura modular multinivell (MMC) de tipologia Voltage Source Converter (VSC) per a xarxes d’alta tensio´ en corrent continu (HVDC) . Tamb´e es proposa el disseny d’una de les cel·les que formen aquest convertidor per a un prototipus de baixa pot`encia. Primerament es presenta l’ana`lisi detallat dels controls existents per a MMC per tenir una visio´ m´es amplia de l’objecte d’estudi. A m´es, es presenta un esquema de control complet per a un convertidor trifa`sic modular multinivell per a controlar tots els graus de llibertat interns existents. Tamb´e es duen a terme diverses simulacions per validar els diferents controls dissenyats mitjanc¸ant el programa Matlab Simulink@. Finalment, es realitza el disseny d’un prototipus de convertidor MMC de laboratori, on s’hi pret´en validar els controls dissenyats. El prototipus experimental ´es de 5 kVA de pot`encia i una tensio´ de bus de cont´ınua de 700 V. Tamb´e es dissenya un submo`dul de pot`encia per a aquest, amb el software Altium Design@ i es realitzen proves per a validar el seu disseny.
