Grid codes automation

Abstract

The project focuses on creating a testing platform for equipment that injects energy into the electrical grid, essential for the integration of renewable energy and electric mobility. This equipment must comply with "grid codes", in this case, the IEEE 1547-2018 standard in Canada and the USA, which ensures the safety, quality of supply, and interoperability of electrical systems. The project arises from the need at Wallbox, with its bidirectional charger "Quasar II", to efficiently verify compliance with these standards. The platform aims to streamline the testing process, reduce human errors, and provide traceability, facilitating pre-certification validation by entities such as UL.
