Reserva de la biosfera del Montseny
Al 2025 el Parc Natural del Montseny va aprovar la incorporació d’Hostalric, Santa Maria de Palautordera, i la totalitat del terme de Sant Feliu de Buixalleu, a l’àmbit de la reserva de la biosfera. El Parc Natural portarà la sol·licitud d’ampliació a la Unesco, que és qui emet la validació i certificació de l’ampliació.
