Aglomerantes alternativos basados en escorias activadas alcalinamente

Abstract

Alkali-activated materials (AAMs) have become established as an option for reducing the environmental impact of cement. These new materials are derived from two raw materials: precursors and activators. The precursors are generally silicon- and aluminum-based, but certain iron-containing wastes can be used for this purpose. The use of these materials is less common, as is their study. Therefore, it is important to study the behavior of materials obtained from the activation of iron-rich wastes.
