Abstract

This final degree project presents the development of Voxel, an interactive web tool for managing, visualizing, and optimizing warehouses at Amphora Logistics. The project aims to digitalize and improve internal logistics processes that were previously carried out manually using spreadsheets, by providing a virtual representation of warehouses in both two and three dimensions. The tool allows intuitive editing of warehouse layouts, real-time status monitoring, and performance analysis based on operational data. It also includes advanced features such as heat maps, stock-out reports, and optimization algorithms for shelf reorganization and distance reduction in picking routes. The developed system not only addresses current logistics management needs, but also lays a solid foundation for the tool's future evolution. With an architecture designed to be modular and scalable, Voxel stands as a first step towards the implementation of a logistics Digital Twin at Amphora Logistics, enabling a more intelligent, visual, and automated warehouse management approach.
