Unions de fusta per encaix com a alternativa a cargols, claus o adhesius

Abstract

Aquest Treball de Fi de Grau (TFG) estudia les unions de fusta sense la utilització de cargols, claus, adhesius o altres elements d’unió, centrant-se en la seva viabilitat estructural i funcional. La motivació principal és demostrar que, mitjançant tècniques tradicionals d’encaix, inspirades en la fusteria japonesa, és possible aconseguir estructures resistents amb un procés de muntatge simple. S’ha dissenyat i construït diversos models d’unions de fusta, realitzant els processos de tall, desbast, polit i ajust amb serratge. Per avaluar el comportament estructural, s’han dut a terme assajos de flexió i mitjançant aparells de mesura, s’han recollit dades per valorar els resultats. A més, s’ha utilitzat la tècnica de Digital Image Correlation (DIC) per mesurar desplaçaments i deformacions en tot el model. Els resultats mostren que determinats tipus d’encaix poden transmetre esforços significatius sense necessitat d’elements auxiliars. S’ha observat una relació clara entre la geometria de l’encaix i la seva capacitat resistent, així com la importància d’un acabat precís per evitar jocs i pèrdues de rigidesa en la unió. Com a conclusió, es confirma que les unions mecàniques de fusta constitueixen una alternativa viable per a aplicacions concretes, aportant avantatges en sostenibilitat, logística i simplicitat constructiva. No obstant, la seva implantació a escala industrial requeriria un control dimensional rigorós i una selecció adequada del tipus de fusta utilitzat, així com un anàlisi més profund que el que mostra aquest treball.
