Abstract

This project consists of the redesign of the packaging of five products from the brand The Organic Republic, a Spanish brand committed to sustainability and cosmetics with natural ingredients. The main objective is to improve both the structural and graphic characteristics of the packaging, maintaining visual coherence between all of them and adapting them to current trends in the sector. The project includes two design proposals. The first maintains the current aesthetic line of the brand, reinforcing its visual identity and improving design aspects in order to raise the perception of quality and uniformity, without drastic changes. On the other hand, the second proposal proposes a comprehensive renovation, a more daring and contemporary option, with innovative aesthetics and a design that impacts and attracts attention. Both proposals seek to reposition The Organic Republic as a benchmark in the natural and sustainable cosmetics market, differentiating it from the rest of the brands in the sector. The project represents a complex challenge, combining knowledge of graphic design, structural packaging design, visual communication and sustainability. It has required the application of functional, aesthetic and technical criteria in order to develop attractive and viable solutions both at a conceptual and productive level. This experience highlights the importance of design as a tool to generate value.

Este proyecto consiste en el rediseño del packaging de cinco productos de la marca The Organic Republic, marca española comprometida con la sostenibilidad y la cosmética con ingredientes naturales. El objetivo principal es mejorar las características tanto estructurales como gráficas de los envases, manteniendo una coherencia visual entre todos ellos y adaptándolos a las tendencias actuales del sector. El proyecto incluye dos propuestas de diseño. La primera mantiene la línea estética actual de la marca, reforzando su identidad visual y mejorando aspectos de diseño para elevar la percepción de calidad y uniformidad, sin cambios drásticos. Por otra parte, la segunda propuesta plantea una renovación integral, una opción más atrevida y contemporánea, con una estética innovadora y un diseño que impacta y llama la atención. Ambas propuestas buscan reposicionar a The Organic Republic como un referente en el mercado cosmético natural y sostenible, diferenciándolo del resto de marcas del sector. El proyecto representa un reto complejo que combina conocimientos de diseño gráfico, diseño estructural de packaging, comunicación visual y sostenibilidad. Ha requerido aplicar criterios funcionales, estéticos y técnicos para desarrollar soluciones atractivas y viables tanto a nivel conceptual como productivo. Esta experiencia pone de manifiesto la importancia del diseño como herramienta para generar valor.

Aquest projecte consisteix en el redisseny del packaging de cinc productes de la marca The Organic Republic, una marca espanyola compromesa amb la sostenibilitat i la cosmètica amb ingredients naturals. L’objectiu principal és millorar les característiques tant estructurals com gràfiques dels envasos, mantenint una coherència visual entre tots ells i adaptant-los a les tendències actuals del sector. El projecte inclou dues propostes de disseny. La primera manté la línia estètica actual de la marca, tot reforçant-ne la identitat visual i millorant aspectes de disseny per tal d’elevar la percepció de qualitat i uniformitat, sense canvis dràstics. D’altra banda, la segona proposta planteja una renovació integral, una opció més atrevida i contemporània, amb una estètica innovadora i un disseny que impacta i crida l’atenció. Ambdues propostes busquen reposicionar The Organic Republic com un referent al mercat cosmètic natural i sostenible, diferenciant-lo de la resta de marques del sector. El projecte representa un repte complex, que combina coneixements de disseny gràfic, disseny estructural de packaging, comunicació visual i sostenibilitat. Ha requerit aplicar criteris funcionals, estètics i tècnics per tal de desenvolupar solucions atractives i viables tant a nivell conceptual com productiu. Aquesta experiència posa de manifest la importància del disseny coma eina per generar valor.
