Abstract

Lower power consumption, high speed and low offset are features commonly demanded in electronic design. CMOS technology has facilitated advances to deal with this. This thesis focus on one of the most important blocks that involves the ADC converters, the comparators, that can be implemented with CMOS transistors. It consists of designing, with a technology of 65 nm, different circuits of it. The goal is to see how Nyquist type static and dynamic converters behave with kickback noise, delay in comparison, power consumption and offset voltage and try to implement solutions to reduce them and in consequence the resolution improves
