Abstract

The project is about numerical tools combined with sensor data that allow quick and informed decisions to be made based on simulations of tailing dams. Using finite element method (FEM) and inverse analysis, key parameters such as saturated hydraulic conductivity and elastic modulus are identified from pressure data. The approach allows optimization of the dam's hydromechanical model, facilitating efficient and accurate calibration based on real data.
