Abstract

La razón por la cual decidí hacer este trabajo fue porque desde hace unos años he tenido la curiosidad de conocer más sobre los problemas visuales que pueden empezar a la infancia. Es socialmente conocido que algunos niños tienen problemas de aprendizaje relacionados con la vista, pero el que en general se piensa es que la razón es una ametropía no corregida. La realidad es que existen muchas causas relacionadas con la vista que pueden interferir en el aprendizaje de un niño o niña. A veces, no es un problema de las habilidades visuales relacionadas con la función visual, sino que existen otros factores que dan como resultado una disfunción visual. Es por este motivo que el objetivo que me propuse fue dar a conocer la importancia de tener una buena salud visual, sobre todo como es de relevante en los niños, puesto que gran parte del conocimiento que van adquiriendo proviene de la vista. Por lo tanto, en caso de encontrar alguna alteración en las habilidades visuales, la detección de esta y el posterior tratamiento en niños es indispensable. En este trabajo se ha evaluado las habilidades visuales relacionadas con la función visual, la eficacia visual, el procesamiento de una información visual y la postura corporal en niños de 3º y 4º de primaria.

La raó per la qual vaig decidir fer aquest treball va ser perquè des de fa uns anys he tingut la curiositat de conèixer més sobre els problemes visuals que poden començar a la infància. És socialment conegut que alguns nens tenen problemes d’aprenentatge relacionats amb la vista, però el que en general es pensa és que la raó és una ametropia no corregida. La realitat és que existeixen moltes causes relacionades amb la vista que poden interferir en l’aprenentatge d’un nen o nena. A vegades, no és un problema de les habilitats visuals relacionades amb la funció visual, sinó que existeixen altres factors que donen com a resultat una disfunció visual. És per aquest motiu que l’objectiu que em vaig proposar va ser donar a conèixer la importància de tenir una bona salut visual, sobretot com n’és de rellevant en els infants, ja que gran part del coneixement que van adquirint prové de la vista. Per tant, en cas de trobar alguna alteració en les habilitats visuals, la detecció d’aquesta i el posterior tractament en nens és indispensable. En aquest treball s’ha avaluat les habilitats visuals relacionades amb la funció visual, l’eficàcia visual, el processament d’una informació visual i la postura corporal en nens de 3r i 4t de primària.

The reason I decided to do this work was because for a few years I have been curious to know more about the visual problems that can begin in childhood. It is socially known that some children have eye-related learning problems, but what is generally thought is that reason is an uncorrected ametropy. The reality is that there are many eye-related causes that can interfere with the learning of a child. Sometimes, it is not a problem of visual skills related to visual function, but there are other factors that result in visual dysfunction. For this reason, the objective I proposed was to make known the importance of having good visual health, especially as it is relevant in children, since much of the knowledge they acquire comes from the view. Therefore, in case of any alteration in visual skills, detection of this and subsequent treatment in children is essential. In this work, the visual skills related to visual function, visual efficiency, the processing of visual information and body posture in children in 3rd and 4th grade of primary school have been evaluated.
