Campo de presiones y riesgo de cavitación en aliviaderos de perfil estricto en zonas de gran altitud

Abstract

Relacionado con el estudio del vertido en aliviaderos de perfil estricto en zonas de gran altitud (entornos de 4000 m.s.n.m.) se ha caracterizado experimentalmente el campo de presiones sobre el perfil del aliviadero que permite analizar en detalle el riesgo de cavitación a tales alturas. Los ensayos se han llevado a cabo para diferentes relaciones de altura de vertido y cargas de diseño y los resultados muestran que, en dichas condiciones de baja presión atmosférica, el riesgo de cavitación aumenta considerablemente respecto a los criterios empíricos tradicionales obtenidos a menor altitud.
