Abstract

Aquest treball es basa en un estudi i anàlisi de l'empresa ITW i el seu model de negoci. Posteriorment, el projecte posa el punt de mira a la planta de 1K, ubicada al polígon industrial de Llerona, la qual està especialitzada en la injecció de petites peces o components de plàstic per al sector de l'automoció. Aprofitant el període de pràctiques dut a terme, s'han estudiat i analitzat els processos productius de la planta, els tipus d'embalatge que s'hi utilitza, les diferents tasques que duen a terme els operaris, etc. Finalment, tota aquesta informació ha servit per a dissenyar i avaluar la implementació d'una millora en alguna de les línies de producció. Aquesta millora es basa en un sistema d'apilament de KLT's que sorgeix davant la necessitat de reduir el temps que dediquen els operaris a tasques secundàries, evitar possibles lesions musculoesquelètiques a causa d'aquestes, optimitzar la producció i augmentar els beneficis. Aquest sistema està dividit en tres mòduls amb diferents funcions per a poder complir les tasques necessàries: el mòdul de desapilament, el d'omplerta i el d'apilament. Com ja s'ha comentat, l'objectiu principal és dur a terme el disseny i implementació d'una millora en una zona o tasca prèviament estudiada i analitzada del procés productiu. L'estudi es fonamenta en l'anàlisi del model de negoci i estratègies que segueixi l'empresa per entendre el perquè de la distribució de les màquines, tasques i operaris arreu de la planta. Un cop entès, s'aplicaran les mateixes estratègies o tècniques implementades per ITW per a decidir i justificar on, com, quan i qui necessita un canvi o millora en el desenvolupament de les seves funcions. Un cop dut a terme el disseny seguint els requisits i característiques imposades a l'estudi previ, s'analitzarà i justificarà la seva implementació en base a l'estalvi de temps i recursos, la reducció de possibles lesions a causa del risc de determinades tasques i un estudi econòmic del capital necessari i el període de devolució davant la inversió que requereix el sistema. En conclusió, el projecte permetrà una visió general i integra de l'empresa ITW, el seu model de negoci, procés productiu i possibilitats de millora o canvi d'aquest.

This project is based on a study and analysis of the ITW company and its business model. Subsequently, the project focuses on the 1K plant, located in the Llerona industrial estate, which is specialized in the injection of small plastic parts or components for the automotive sector. Taking advantage of the trainee period carried out, I have been able to study and analyze the production processes of the plant, the types of packaging used, the different tasks carried out by the operators, etc. Finally, all this information has been used to design and evaluate the implementation of an improvement in one of the production lines. This improvement is based on a KLT stacking system that arises from the need to reduce the time that operators spend on secondary tasks, to avoid possible musculoskeletal injuries due to them, optimize production and increase profits. This system is divided into three modules with different functions to be able to fulfill the necessary tasks: the destacking module, the filling module and the stacking module. As already mentioned, the main objective is to carry out the design and implementation of an improvement in a previously studied and analyzed area or task of the production process. The study is based on the analysis of the business model and strategies followed by the company to understand the reason for the distribution of machines, tasks and operators throughout the plant. Once understood, the same strategies or techniques implemented by ITW will be applied to decide and justify where, how, when and who needs a change or improvement in the development of their functions. Once the design has been carried out following the requirements and characteristics imposed in the previous study, its implementation will be analyzed and justified based on the saving of time and resources, the reduction of possible injuries due to the risk of certain tasks and an economic study of the necessary capital and the payback period against the investment required by the system. In conclusion, the project will allow a general and integrated vision of the ITW company, its business model, production process and possibilities for improvement or change.
