Abstract

Reinforced soil is a technique used in geotechnical engineering to improve the mechanical properties of soil by incorporating structural elements. This method involves inserting reinforcement elements into the soil to increase its strength and load-bearing capacity. The most common reinforcements used include metallic, geotextile, and polymeric materials, which are selected based on the soil's characteristics and project requirements.
