Resiliencia urbana frente al cambio climático. Resultados del Proyecto RESCCUE

Abstract

RESCCUE es un proyecto de investigación financiado por el programa Horizonte 2020 de la Comisión Europea y liderado por Suez que tiene como objetivo ayudar a ciudades de todo el mundo a ser más resistentes a retos físicos, sociales y económicos, utilizando el sector del agua como elemento central. Desde 2016, RESCCUE ha desarrollado metodologías y herramientas para ayudar a las ciudades a aumentar su resiliencia, que se han probado en Barcelona, Bristol y Lisboa, y ya están listas para ser implementadas en otras urbes, con diferentes presiones provocadas por el cambio climático. Este documento presenta los principales resultados de RESCCUE. Desde escenarios de cambio climático hasta materiales de difusión, los productos que se han producido son diversos, pero se hace hincapié en el ciclo urbano del agua y las inundaciones urbanas. Todos los resultados tienen un objetivo común: aumentar la resiliencia de las ciudades, ofreciendo metodologías y herramientas para que cualquiera pueda replicarlos.
