El trabajo pone en valor la arquitectura no construida a través de los concursos. Específicamente en el concurso para el ayuntamiento de Marl, Alemania. Los arquitectos que participaron fueron Van den Broek y Bakema, Hans Scharoun, Alvar Aalto, Heinz y Kurt Conle, Günter Marschall, Arne Jacobsen, Englberger, Ferdinand Kramer, Bernhard Pfau, Sep Ruf, Rudolf Schwarz y Hans Schwippert.

El treball posa en valor l'arquitectura no construïda a través dels concursos. Específicament al concurs per a l'ajuntament de Marl, Alemanya. Els arquitectes que van participar van ser Van den Broek i Bakema, Hans Scharoun, Alvar Aalto, Heinz i Kurt Conle, Günter Marschall, Arne Jacobsen, Englberger, Ferdinand Kramer, Bernhard Pfau, Sep Ruf, Rudolf Schwarz i Hans Schwippert.
