Abstract

In the world of ERPs, technologies advance day by day without giving users time to adapt to them. Additionally, an implementer of these services faces many difficulties when showcasing their capabilities to potential clients. A Business Game is an interactive learning method that simulates real-world situations in the business realm, allowing participants to make decisions and manage a virtual business in a controlled environment. It also enables the adaptation of available knowledge to demonstrate the full potential in a truly convenient manner. With an Odoo-based Business Game engine, users can first-hand experience how to utilize ERP functionalities and features to tackle business challenges such as inventory management, purchasing and sales processes, finances, and other relevant aspects. In this report, the development of the aforementioned engine by students David Jiménez and Thiago Mulero is presented. To showcase its effectiveness, an instance of this game is demonstrated in the industrial livestock farming context.
